Free Legal Fees on Remortgages – Eligibility


Offer period
This offer is available on fully completed remortgage applications submitted between 7 April 2026 and 31 May 2026 (inclusive).

Eligibility

  • Available to new and existing customers applying for an Afin Bank remortgage.
  • For non-portfolio landlords, up to a max of 4 properties are eligible for this offer.
  • Fully completed applications must be submitted within the offer period.
  • The mortgage must be complete for the offer to apply.
  • All applications are subject to Afin Bank’s lending criteria, status, and affordability checks.

What the offer includes

  • Afin Bank will cover the Express remortgage fee (as defined in our Legal Process Guide for your remortgage, subject to the amounts noted below.
  • The amount covered will be as set out in Afin Banks Legal Process Guide under Express Remortgage (for example, up to £750 + VAT (equivalent of £900) for property values up to £999,999 with higher fees for higher property values.

What is not included
This offer covers legal fees only and does not include any additional costs or disbursements, such as:

  • Search fees
  • Land Registry fees
  • Bank transfer or telegraphic transfer fees
  • Stamp Duty (if applicable)
  • Any additional legal work required (for example, leasehold properties, title issues, or non-standard transactions)
  • Customers will be responsible for paying any such costs.

Solicitor requirements

  • The offer only applies where the customer uses our Express Remortgage service via Movin’ Legal for Dual Representation.
  • If you choose not to use an approved firm, you will not be eligible for this offer.

General conditions

  • This offer is not transferable, and no cash alternative is available.
  • The offer cannot be combined with another legal fee offers unless stated otherwise.
  • Afin Bank reserves the right to withdraw or amend this offer at any time. Any fully completed application submitted before withdrawal will still be honoured.
